What is the purpose of this thread, Jorge?

Is it a message? Is it a genuine curiosity? Is it a critique? Is it a call to arms? Can you add soem detail to your post? I am unsure what you really want to know. It would be much better to upgrade the twitter-like query to a more detailed query. A big "why" ?

The Eightfold Noble Path

Right View: I'm working on continuously purifying it.

Right intention: I have always considered myself a moral person and try and continue not to steal, lie, hurt other beings in anyway. I also have the strong resolve and intention to continue walking the path.

Right Speech: When I trip up, I recognise that I tripped up. i try not to harm anyone with my speech but help others. If I ever trip up here, I hope people will call me up on it.

Right Action: I try hard not to harm other beings in anyway. I try to be as moral as i can. The purpose is to feel good about myself so I can keep cultivating concentration and insight and to not harm others but be beneficial and helpful for them.

Right Livelihood: I'm an English teacher. Nuff said.

Right Effort: I do my best to be aware of all that is occuring at all waking times. I hope that can one day be taken into sleeping times too. So far, right effort has paid off! Momentum! Momentum! Momentum!

Right mindfulness: I am continuously trying to be present and discerning with whatever phenomenon that has arisen in the moment. This also extends to outside my own body and mind when attending to daily activities.

Right Concentration: Jhanas!!! No problems there.

Nick: A big "why"?

- A guy by the name of Siddhattha Gotama (so they say) mentioned the way leading to the cessation of suffering and the achievement of self-awakening was achieved by following this Eightfold path.

The purpose of this thread is to simply ask members of our community how our practicing of the Whole Noble Eightfold Path is going. Nothing more. The question seems pretty a simple to me (I dont "twit", btw).

Thank you for sharing your eightfold path practice, Nick. I think it will be interesting to continue to read on and find out how the rest of us are practicing it.
