A bit of progress

The other day I had a friend to stay. He snores like a trooper so I went outside to do my early morning sit on the veranda. After a while I was hit by a 'clunker' of a cessation that knocked my socks off, swept in like midnight from left to right across the visual field. I thought nothing of it as fruitions have not appeared for a number of weeks and when they have, there has been no significant change what so ever. But...this is as dramatic a shift as my experiences of first and second path. The entire energy flow in my body has altered. After a life of not remembering dreams I now remember them every night. There is a ridiculous amount of energy in my system now and yet the body is in a state of such utter relaxation I hardly know it at all. I recognize from reading Nicolai, the sensation of having completed, which appears and disappears for times during the day. WIth the benefit of his reflection and now my own I realise it is just new territory where there is a sense of no longer needing or wanting to see through stuff, ie push beyond, or find the goal, rather...I am saturated in just things being as they...but only for short periods. Review is astonishing as an experience... I can't say I'm not there, I don't know...there appears just to be experience...I'm not breathing, hearing or looking, there is just stuff arising and passing away. I feel a silly resonance of loving everyone and everything. So, the qustion is....is this a shift to 3rd path, or just the shadow of a big fish I want see beneath my little boat of practice?
