If you want this to work you are going to have to kill the other forum. Just sayin'...

I know. Talk to to the man. I think it would be wise to create a cut off date. and then just go from there. Start fresh once again. The bbpress posts are deeply intertwined within the same database table as the blog posts in wordpress. Why they do that? I don't know. Makes it very hard to export ans then re import into another format. I've been looking around for solutions but I can't find anything good.

I see you've made the old forum read only. That was a necessary step. Now let's hope this can become a permanent home.

It makes me log in every time I visit, even if I check the little box. Anyone else?

It's not *every* visit, but it seems to time out within a few hours.

Extended it to much longer. It had an hour long timeout.

Minor thing - make the "private messages" link stand out more, maybe in green, if there are unread messages.

Do you not get any email or notification pop up about PM's?

Yes, I got a notification mail, though only for the second PM I got here, not for the first one.
(edit) I got the first one as well, maybe it got stuck in greylisting for a while.
Cheers,
Florian

I notice that I can choose to add someone as my "foe" if I click on their profile picture. In the spirit of metta, perhaps this feature should be disabled? <!-- s:P --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_razz.gif" alt="

Otherwise, it's all looking good. Can't wait to have this community up and running again.

I noticed that. I think I'll just disable the whole friend/foe thing altogether.
