Buddhism and "The Hangover Part Two" was created by Dharma Comarade
In the first Hangover, they broke into Mike Tyson's estate and stole a tiger.
In this one, they break into a buddhist monastery and steal a monk.
The monk is in a wheelchair and has taken a vow of silence. He just smiles, dumbly, through the entire movie.
When they take the monk back to the monastery, one of the monks keeps striking them with a long stick -- to great comic effect.
Eventually they join the monks in meditation in order to try to figure out what happened during their previous night's blackout and, one of the characters is able to figure some things out while in what appears to be a trance.
I guess I don't have anything profound to say, except that there are Thai monks depicted in this new movie.
